Planting pansies with the police for the Pansy Project at the 2007 Homotopia Festival.  The Pansy Project plants pansies around the world at the site of homophobic incidents.  Paul Harfleet is seeking crowd funding to continue and expand his project.  I was fortunate enough to see Harfleet present his project at the 2006 Conflux in NYC.  He pointed out that pansies don’t look like much but gardeners know they’re incredibly tough plants.  Click through the image for the crowd funding page (which is UK based).  View high resolution
