Ryan McGinley, “Amanda Falling, Marionville, Missouri” I don’t like very much of McGinley’s work despite him being one of the more influential young photographers.  He does produce work that for me stands out magnificently from what I feel is a body of work that’s relies heavily on pretty (vacant) young people running around being young and pretty. Then again I like Larry Clark so maybe its just having to deal with club kids up close from living in Williamsburg during the early 00’s that turns me off.  This is from his Wandering Comma series.   View high resolution
